Product Description:

The Yard Mastery Starter Fertilizer contains 12% nitrogen, derived from premium ammonium sulfate, which brings a rich steely-blue-green color to turf and works synergistically with the other elements in the blend.

This formula also contains 12% phosphorus to stimulate root development in new seed, sod, plugs, or spring lawn projects, as well as 12% potassium derived from premium sulfate of potash for a lower salt index and improved plant health. As with all Yard Mastery blends, Starter includes 3% iron for deeper color plus a well-rounded micronutrient package including boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, and zinc.

Application Information:

You can apply Starter Fertilizer when seeding or installing sod, but it's also an excellent all-purpose option for lawns low in nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (N-P-K), based on soil test results.
