Veri-Green Starter Fertilizer for Seeding & Sodding is formulated to get new grass seedings off to a great start. It helps your lawn grow strong roots and grow faster and thicker when seeding, overseeding, and laying sod.

Healthy grass roots are essential for surviving the harsh summer and winter weather conditions. Give your new lawn the best chance of survival and a quick and successful germination. This particular fert is rich in phosphorus, a key component in the development of root formation for new grass seedlings. It also contains humates that enhance the efficiency, availability, and exchange of plant nutrients to and from the soil.

Application Information:

For best results, this starter fertilizer should be applied just after seeding a new lawn or installing sod rolls. 

Apply when seeding or sodding on a dry lawn. For best results, thoroughly irrigate the treated area. Once watered, wait a day to mow the lawn to give the product time to activate.

This product is safe to apply when you are seeding and/or sodding, in the garden, and on the following grasses:

Cool Season Lawns - Kentucky Bluegrass, Turf Type Tall Fescue (all fescues), Ryegrass.

Warm Season Lawns - Bermuda, St Augustine, Zoysia, Centipede, Bahia.
