I get a lot of questions on this guide so this is my attempt to answer them.
Q. I don't know anything about my lawn other than it's there and looks awful. Is this guide truly "idiot-proof"?
A. I've tried to make it as easy and intuitive as possible.
When you get the guide, you do NOT have to undertake 100% of the strategy - instead, take baby steps - learn and progress, that’s the idea! What you will find is that this lawn care thing is actually pretty easy once you learn the basics!
Q. I’m in the transition zone, will this guide work for me?
A. Yes, if you have predominantly cool-season grass in your lawn, this guide will work for you.
If you know that you have a mixture of both warm and cool-season grass types, use this link to get both the warm and cool-season guides for a discounted price.
Q. How do the lifetime updates work?
A. We update the cool season guide yearly to stay on the cutting edge of the lawn care world and automatically send you the new, refreshed guide in the later winter/early spring of each year.
Q. Can I buy a printed copy?
A. No. Currently, these guides are only available in a digital format. Once you have purchased you have the option to print out at home.
Q. It’s June and I just found this. Am I starting too late on my lawn this year?
A. While mid-summer isn’t the best time to start on your lawn, we do have an entire section of the guide on what to do if you’re starting late. The best time to start is fall and the second-best time is early spring.
Q. I’m not trying to spend a small fortune on my lawn. Do I need fancy, new products to get good results?
A. No way! This guide is designed to show you exactly what you need to get results with your lawn. Each product is broken down into “cost per 1,000 sq ft” so you know exactly how much you’ll be spending based on the size of your lawn.
That being said, some things like the N-Ext products do give your lawn a nice boost but they aren’t a necessity.
